Trinity Lutheran Church (second) is dedicated.

Architect: Jacob Luippold. Originally the German Evangelical Lutheran Trinity Church, t is designed in the late Gothic Revival (Panel Brick) style and located at 716 Parker Street. Its construction was supported by the Burkhardt and Haffenreffer families. An outgrowth of the First Lutheran Church in Boston, the congregation was established in 1871 and met initially in the former Eliot Mission Society Chapel at 714 Parker Street. the congregation subsequently moves to 1195 Centre Street in Roslindale and the building becomes the home of the Gloucester Memorial Presbyterian Church in 1958.
